Targeting the Third Reich: Air Intelligence and the Allied Bombing Campaigns

I think most of us think of the bombing of the Germany industrial areas in WWII and we get visions of mass Allied airplanes just pounding the Germans into submission, but there was more to it than just Allied muscle. Mr. Ehlers shows us the planning, the intelligence that went into making these bombing missions successful, far more than just sheer strength. The planning that went into these missions is well beyond what we normally think. The book is insightful. The book reads like a text book in some places but is a must read for those interested in WWII, air power history or military intelligence. RECOMMENDED
